Cori’s (any/all) therapeutic practice is rooted in the belief that every human being possesses inestimable value and vast potential.  From this place, Cori seeks to collaborate with each client to create a safe space in which to explore their unique goals and challenges.  As a queer, BIPOC, nonbinary therapist, Cori loves supporting clients in exploring their identities and the unique ways the intersectionality of these identities interacts with their lives. They are keenly aware of the ways marginalization impacts the lives of individuals, and actively seek to build an anti-racist, culturally responsive partnership with each client.

Through a  strengths-based approach that draws on a mix of therapeutic modalities including somatic practices, narrative therapy, and parts work. Cori works collaboratively with clients to support and empower each person. They work with clients to address a variety of issues that include anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as communication and relationship concerns. Additionally, Cori has speciality in supporting people with identities that include BIPOC, queer and transgender, polyamory/ethical nonmonogamy, and BDSM/kink.

Cori holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Delaware State University, a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Wilmington University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Youth Counseling from the University of Hawaii.  They have experience as an educator and educational consultant, and bring those life experiences to their practice.
