Jeremy Clark, LCSW, Senior Clinician
Jeremy Clark (he/him) believes in therapy as a space of exploration and empowerment. He brings curiosity and a collaborative spirit to the therapeutic relationship to help people find personal balance and deeper connections to others and themselves. He believes in each client’s innate wisdom and capacity to heal. Jeremy incorporates various relational, somatic, and trauma-informed modalities into his work, and is Level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems therapy.
Jim Tinger, LCSW, Clinical Supervisor
Jim Tinger (he/him) believes in an empathetic approach and employs a strength-based perspective that facilitates a caring and nurturing environment to clients of all ages. Jim enjoys working with adults and specializes in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, and those with mild autism, to name a few. He has worked in substance abuse counseling, and has facilitated groups in a variety of settings.
Veronica Vaganov, LMSW
Veronica Vaganov (she/her) takes a compassionate and person-centered approach to therapy, collaborating with clients to explore and connect with their innate strengths and healing abilities. In her work with children, Veronica provides a creative and nurturing environment, facilitating growth in self-awareness, self-confidence, and emotional regulation.
Soma Wingelaar, MHC-LP
Soma Wingelaar (she/her) provides a compassionate and nonjudgmental space for people to understand themselves. Focusing on individual strengths and agency is a key component to the collaborative work she looks forward to doing with others. Navigating life’s struggles (and joys!) can be challenging and she is invested in practical tools for understanding one’s goals and managing anxiety.
Katherine Young, LMHC, Clinical Supervisor
Katherine Young (she/her) approaches the sacred work of therapy from a spirit of presence. She believes that what brings you in and what you want to explore lead therapist and client down a path together. She aims to journey with you, offering support where needed, mirroring your integral wholeness, and allowing you to guide. Katherine offers questions, inquiries, and explorations along the way.
Cody Christensen, Operations & Billing Support
Over the last ten years, Cody Christensen (he/him) has worked as a project manager for a large manufacturing company as well as a growing online retail start-up, both in the Hudson Valley. Originally from Columbia county, Cody now lives in Red Hook with his wife and two children. Cody is a martial artist, skateboarder, musician, and recently started a podcast.
Janine Barton, Clinical Coordinator
Janine Barton (she/her) is MPG’s Clinical Coordinator. As the clinical coordinator, Janine serves as a critical liaison between prospective clients, current clients, psychotherapists, and administrative staff to ensure as smooth as possible referral and onboarding processes, and on-going clinical administrative support. She manages incoming client inquiries, assessing clinical and insurance needs, appropriately connecting potential clients to psychotherapists with availability, maintaining awareness of present psychotherapist specialties and referral needs, coordinating referrals internally and externally, and supporting onboarding/offboarding transitions.Janine has Bachelor of Science degrees in both Marketing and Economics. She has worked as both a Retail Buyer and as a Wholesale Senior Account Executive nationwide handling all major department stores. Janine lives in Northern NJ with her husband and 4 Furr-kids (3 dogs and a cat!). When not working, she enjoys gardening, hikes, and traveling as much as she can!
Stephanie Gindele, Administrative Manager
Stephanie Gindele (she/her) received her BA in sociology from Rutgers University. She has a life long interest in spirituality and the healing arts.
Jennifer Grumme, Billing Specialist
Jennifer Grumme (she/her) brings years of experience in healthcare to the MPG team. She lives in the Hudson Valley with her family.
Kelly Phillips, Billing Specialist
Kelly Phillips (she/her) has lived and worked in the Hudson Valley for most of her life. Prior to joining the team at Maverick Psychotherapy Group, she worked in the veterinary medical field for many years as a licensed veterinary technician. She currently resides locally with her family and enjoys the many outdoor activities we have available in our area.
