Connecting Through Chronic Pain and Autoimmunity with Abri Bernstein
Living with chronic pain and autoimmune illness often brings emotional fatigue, identity shifts, and disconnection. It can also lead to hypervigilance - fixating on symptoms, bracing for the next flare, and focusing on what is not okay. This group offers a supportive space to process the complexities of chronic illness while gently shifting toward presence, connection, and making room for a range of experiences - whatever they may be.
Participants will be introduced to accessible practices that help them connect with moments of “okayness” - sensations of support, stability, or relief that exist even within pain. Through community, somatic tools, trauma-informed care, and reflective writing, this group invites participants to explore perspectives beyond narratives of stagnancy, and to gently consider what might be possible.
Open to adults ages 18+
Sessions will be held virtually (via Zoom) on Tuesdays from 5:30pm - 7pm starting in September 4th.
$20-30 per group session to be determined with facilitator
