Jerrica Bloom, LMSW
Drawing on community-building experience and a background in the arts, Jerrica (they/them) collaborates with individuals of all ages, couples, families, and groups to navigate life’s challenges with openness and compassion. Their holistic practice centers the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for healing, emphasizing a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach.
Grounded in anti-oppressive values, Jerrica approaches therapy with respect for each individual’s intersecting identities and lived experiences. Their practice is rooted in deep listening, creative engagement, and a belief in each client’s inherent capacity to heal. Jerrica has specialized clinical experience working with LGBTQ+ communities, gender affirmation, crisis intervention, trauma recovery, and supporting adolescents through major transitions.
Jerrica understands healing and change don’t always follow a straight path. They are committed to creating an easeful, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore what’s holding them back, interrupt harmful patterns, and reconnect with a sense of purpose and possibility.
They hold a Master of Social Work from Fordham University, and are becoming certified as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, with an interest in how the mind-body connection informs chronic pain, stress, and resilience. Jerrica is always learning, bringing curiosity, care, and a collaborative spirit to each session.
