Esther Rosheger, LMSW
Esther Rosheger (she/her) is an LMSW who brings a calm, genuine, and empathetic presence. Prioritizing trust, safety, and unconditional positive regard, Esther engages an eclectic approach with an emphasis on DBT and CBT. She uses mindfulness as a tool to connect clients with their thoughts, emotions, and body while learning to understand the wise mind. Esther supports her clients in a person-centered and strengths-based lens and recognizes self determination is helpful in understanding what is best for your healing and overall wellness. Esther works with people who have experienced trauma, anxiety, neurodivergence, and depression.
With a background supporting individuals and families in a community mental health setting, Esther has experience working with people of various ages, sexualities, genders identities, socioeconomic status, and cultural backgrounds. As a part of the LGBTQ+ community, Esther works alongside queer youth and adults, and is passionate about creating a space that is accepting and affirming of all identities.
Previously, Esther has worked across the fields of homelessness services, food access, community support, and affordable housing. In these roles, she witnessed how systemic barriers to basic needs deeply affect people’s mental and emotional well-being. This understanding led her to pursue a path in the mental health field, where she integrates her commitment to social justice and mutual aid with a focus on healing. Esther believes wellness comes, not only from individual support, but from building stronger, more connected communities.
